It’s been a big few months since our last issue, and we’re excited to share all the highlights with you.

The Big Reveal & 50th Anniversary Celebration

What a night it was at the Royal Flair Caravans headquarters in Epping! Not only did we witness the unveiling of the latest model designs, but we also celebrated the remarkable 50th anniversary of the company. From the grand welcome to the delicious food, top-notch entertainment, and that stunning anniversary cake—every detail was spectacular. The atmosphere was electric, and the new models looked absolutely incredible.

During the evening, Bill Deralas delivered a heartfelt speech, reflecting on Royal Flair’s humble beginnings under the guidance of his late father, Peter Deralas:

“Dad always had a vision. From our early days in Reservoir, Coburg, Thomastown and Campbellfield—he was the driving force. My son Peter and I took Dad to see the site we now call home, and we all knew it was the place where Royal Flair would truly thrive. He inspired us every step of the way, and you could see his passion in everything he did—right down to the sewing and upholstery work done by Mum.”

Bill also spoke about embracing innovation and the technological advancements now shaping the caravan industry:

“We’re proud to be a registered RV Master Manufacturer, and we remain committed to delivering the very best in caravan craftsmanship to all Royal Flair customers.”

Yarrawonga 2025 – What a Weekend!

This year’s Yarrawonga event was a huge success, with 52 vans attending and every cabin filled! Together, we raised $5,420 for the Mark Hughes Foundation—an amazing result! The Friday night sausage sizzle was a hit, thanks to Master Chef Bill Deralas and the Royal Flair crew. Saturday was packed with fun events and fantastic entertainment from Ron Sinclair, Michael Rigby (guitar performances and wine tasting with Kim), and plenty more.

Looking Ahead: Yarrawonga 2026

Yes, we’ll be back! Following strong feedback from attendees, Yarrawonga will host our next annual event. 40 vans are already registered!

A few updates:

• Some uneven sites are expected to be upgraded—we’ll keep you posted.
• Power site prices may increase slightly, but we always secure a great discount.
• One Saturday event may be dropped due to a (now resolved) complaint.
• Mulwala Club’s Anzac Room is confirmed again and may even be expanded! Angie and Bill are currently reviewing the menu, which will be offered at the same cost as this year.
• With Royal Flair sales increasing at shows we are anticipating we may have at least 70 vans. I also still need some help with this event as announced. The person who was going to assist has to unfortunately be overseas. If you are in the Melbourne / Victorian area and have computer expertise with spread sheet, Word, Email, Social Media etc please message me.
• Terese Proust is currently away with new twins
